Visitors to the area can enjoy Cheia’s Mine Flowers Museum, as well as the historic Suzana and Cheia Monasteries. There are also ample opportunities for rock climbing, hiking, and mountain climbing at nearby sites such as Muntele Rosu (1260m), the Ciucas chalet range, Poiana stanii, Valea Berii, and Siriu summit. Other area attractions include the Maneciu lake and the city of Brasov -- one of the most visited and historic cities in Romania. Visitors can also plan day trips to explore Transylvania – the birthplace of the Dracula history and legend.
